The High Performance Training Program teaches volleyball fundamentals and grows young athletes in the game.
As part of our mission to expand access to the game of volleyball in the Charlotte area, the High Performance Training Program develops volleyball skill and builds volleyball IQ among young people who are eager to grow as players.
The intensive program runs on a monthly basis from November through May. Participants train two days per week (Monday and Wednesday). Instruction will be led by QCVA Coaches Michelle and Kristen (Z). My athlete isn’t a beginner, but has some experience. Are they a good fit for this program?
Yes! Our goal is to meet athletes where they’re at, whether they’re brand new to the game or want to build upon their foundations to get to the next level.
It’s quite an age range. Tell me more.
Given we’re a smaller club, we can be flexible in meeting the needs of participants. We will provide individualized instruction in a group settings. Groups will be organized based on skill level, age and experience.
Can I pay per month, or for the full session?
We offer two payment options. If you’d like to pay month-by-month, we charge $250. If you’d like commit to a three-month period, you can pay a discounted rate of $625.
Will my athlete compete in any tournaments?
We may look to organize participants into teams and participate in 1-2 local scrimmages or tournaments closer to the end of the program so that they can face competition after training. This, of course, depends on a number of factors: the number of participants, their age ranges and participant interest.
