Any videographer is welcome to join us at our meetings. There are no dues or meeting fees.
We hold meetings once a month and to be considered an offical member, you need to attend a minimum of 6 of the 12 meetings AND agree to the QCVA Code of Ethics.
A small donation is appreciated for upkeep of the qcva.org website.
Members of QCVA can enjoy the following:
- Professional and Emergency networking with fellow area videographers
- Creative and technical ideas
- Business and marketing ideas
- Having your business listed on the qcva.org website and other promotional materials
- Camaraderie with other like minded individuals
- Opportunities to share and critique your work
Code of Ethics:
Members of Quad Cities Professional Videographer's Association must pledge to abide by this code of ethics:
- I will conduct myself in a professional, honest, and sincere manner
- I will observe the highest standards of integrity in regards to my transactions, and avoiding the use of false, confusing, inaccurate, and misleading terms, descriptions and claims
- I will continue to advance my creative and technical abilities to produce the highest quality products and services
- I will be fair and honest in my business practices, and adhere to all local, state, and Federal laws
- I vow that all samples used as promotional materials to customers are the actual products of my company.
- I promise to show a friendly spirit of cooperation with other videographers, vendors, and individuals involved in projects or events where collaboration is necessary.
- I will help out fellow members to help raise the bar on the QCA videography industry.
- I realize that failure to comply with any of the above can be grounds for termination of my membership upon the decision of my fellow members.
